Fafard’s Button Boots were made in Salt Lake City in May 1974 and were first exhibited at Levine's solo show the same year at the O.K. Harris Gallery in New York City. They were sold to a private collection in New York. Apparently they came on the market again available for sale and were consigned to Thomas Segal Gallery for a time in 1984 and again at O.K. Harris. Their current ownership and disposition is unknown. The catalog number is 74.18B.
