Nancy's Purse was the piece featured in a video tape illustrating the process used by Levine in making her sculptures. It was originally exhibited in her December 1990 solo exhibition at the Rena Bransten Gallery in San Francisco. Our information indicates that the Rena Bransten Gallery sent Nancy's Purse to a dealer in Southern California who subsequently sold it. It's current location is unknown. The catalog number 89-09A, is marked on the bottom of the piece.
